To err is human! At least that’s what our production manager says whenever we make a mistake on one of our custom-made pieces of furniture. With all of our available options like fabrics, finishes, hardware and sizing, sometimes a product is not made as our client specified. So what happens to the piece? Well it’s brought to our Factory Clearance Center --- usually still in its original wrapping --- and priced from 40%-60% off retail. Nothing wrong with the piece…just not what the customer ordered.
What about our fickle showroom merchandiser? It seems like she wants to change out a floor sample in our showroom every other day. So what happens to these pieces? They’re brought to our Factory Clearance Center ---hardly used --- and also priced from 40% - 60% off retail. Nothing wrong with these pieces…she just wanted to show off a new finish or maybe change the fabric to match the season.
